Coming to Bali is also discovering the wonderful people of Bali, their culture and remarkable lifestyle where everything is positive and friendly. As you will see, there is a smile on every face. And on trips into the country beyond tourist paths, they will always greet and host you warmly.

On every occasion is a bar or restaurant where you will be joined be their company after their first usual question asking : where do you come from ? They will take place on your table and spend a long conversation, showing an interest in you and your outside world without any background commercial motives. Even if life can be particularly hard, they will never complain, but instead will try to tell you about Bali and will advise you which places to see and visit.

The Balinese will smile at all times and seemingly in all conditions. They are proud of their own Balinese language and will encourage and help you to learn a few basic words. These will always be useful during your stay, enabling you to greet and thank the lovely people of this wonderful place.

Most foreigners staying for a long time, or returning visitors, will have their own Balinese sponsor or manager who will help one out for anything that is needed : from making your reservation for your next destination to even arranging your visa or advice on where to change your money.

After a while you will find yourself fitting in harmoniously into the Balinese way of life - ever more appreciating how daily duties can be done so easily and pleasantly - which is not always the case in our western society. And if you have a slimmer of a doubt, just ask any returning visitor or ex-pat who will reassure you and tell you : yes you can !
